Mumbai, May 9, 2016 – Novartis India announces the next edition of the Novartis Biotechnology Leadership Camp (BioCamp) taking place in Hyderabad from July 17 to 20, 2016. Last date to apply is May 23, 2016.
“BioCamp provides a unique opportunity to bright students to meet and interact with thought leaders in the pharmaceutical industry. More important, it helps students make the right career choices and benefits both students and industry. Novartis is deeply committed to furthering the cause of healthcare and is keen to draw the right talent to the pharmaceutical industry. BioCamp certainly helps both,” said Jawed Zia, Country President, Novartis Group of Companies in India.
BioCamp is a pioneering seminar organized by Novartis that brings talented students from diverse faculties and different universities closer to the pharmaceutical industry. The program is open to postgraduate students and young researchers in natural sciences, medicine, biotechnology, bio-informatics, pharmacy, business administration or law (specialization in Intellectual Property Rights) interested in pursuing a career in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry. Interested students should visit www.novartis.in or email [email protected] for more information.
Selected students will have the opportunity to learn from and network with leaders in the pharmaceutical industry as well as hone their team building skills. The top three students from the India BioCamp will represent India at the International BioCamp being held at Novartis global headquarters in Basel, Switzerland from August 28 to 31, 2016. Since starting BioCamp in 2009, India has had three global winners, all women.
