Project Name: Velindre Cancer Services Patient Support Video
Project Summary:
The Collaborative Working Project (CWP) with the Velindre Cancer Services aims to develop one (1)informative cancer related patient video to enable the following aims:
Manage patient and care giver expectations of potential CDK 4/6i treatments and subsequent adverse events and in turn provide increased patient empowerment.
Address service capacity levels by alleviating time pressures on oncology healthcare professionals answering queries

ANTICIPATED BENEFITS FOR PATIENTS
- Increase in patient knowledge in digestible accessible format through video, that can be repeated individually and/or with patient support network. The increase to be measured through a patient evaluation survey distributed through a Velindre owned platform that will be defined as a part of the project.
- Increase in patient confidence in managing expectations about potential treatment and/or diagnostics. The increase to be measured through a patient evaluation survey distributed through a Velindre owned platform that will be defined as a part of the project.
- Ability to increase patient empowerment, alleviating queries and potentially reducing the need to contact HCPs as frequently.
