Summary

About the Role: As a Demand Planning Manager, you will be responsible for driving the tactical purchase planning process for all products in order to ensure the availability of crucial goods. You will also drive forward feasibility plans in accordance with Supply Chain inventory policy. Additionally, you will take charge of supply chain forecasting and business planning. Furthermore, you will be responsible for site data master processes aimed at ensuring the accurate creation and maintenance of master data in accordance with both local and global data regulation requirements.

About the Role

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

•Accountable for Sales and Business Planning documentation and reports maintenance.

•Preparation of reports for local management, RE and the departments.

•Channel Management - daily monitoring of customer forecasted accuracy.

•Inventory management: Placing import orders based on the actual stock level and forecast with due consideration of SAP (accounting system) parameters, follow-up deliveries.

•Ensure Novartis Global Operating Procedures and Policy, fulfilling national regulation requirements, and following best international trade governing rules.

•The related file preparation and setting of monthly thresholds and customer profiling according to the relevant standards

•Monitoring of write-offs and conducting monthly review of stock overview reports

What you will bring to the role:

Essential:

• Graduated degree in logistics, supply chain, economics, or business management

• Three or more years in logistics, supply chain and / or customer service

• Full professional proficiency in English

• High Level of PC literacy (MS Office)

• Strong time management skills

• Effective communication skills

Desirable Requirement:

• Proficiency in German

• Knowledge of SAP     

• Experience in pharmaceutical logistics

For this position the minimum salary is €50,000 per year (on a full-time basis).
