Summary

Individually support and develop data-based risk and compliance solution for Novartis Business Stakeholders. Implement various data modeling, visualization and reporting capabilities utilizing the data & insights domain in driving proactive Ethics, Risks and Compliance indicators. The role supports Novartis stakeholder for Global teams by sharing the Data Insights and Analytics through strong Visualizations based on data related to business process and outcomes. This role is also responsible for process optimization, data audits, customer satisfaction and enhancement of existing services.

About the Role

Extracting, transforming, creating data model and loading data from multiple sources into QlikSense / Power BI or any such reporting tool  to create analytic reports/ dashboards. Understand the data flow, normalize data , perform unit testing and data validation Analyze existing reports and optimize them for enhancements / standardization Work with various enterprise data teams, data scientists, and application engineers. Propose data schema and data flow optimization for reporting performance and enhancement as needed. Coordinates with team and stakeholders for BAU (Business as usual) and Adhoc projects and manage deliverables as assigned Provide subject matter expertise, support and consultation to colleagues and team on the needs as per the defined parameters of the project Provide key business data & Insights to support and drive decision made by Senior Business Team Translate Client needs/demand by adding solutions to existing/new projects to find pragmatic insights and solutions. Manage/oversee the Client portfolios and responsible for their delivery and inculcating automations/improvisations Provide input on proposing, evaluating and selecting appropriate design alternatives which meet client requirements and are consistent with client’s current standards and processes Provide update on the delivery progress to the leadership and other stakeholders Works closely with Team Lead to drive functional expertise in the local team Conducts training/mentors new joiners for assigned topics/projects

Ideal Background (State the preferred education and experience level)

Education (minimum/desirable):

B.E/Btech/BCA/MBA/B.A.Computer Science/MCA/Mtech

Languages:                                  

Fluent in English (spoken and written)

  • 4 to 7 years of overall work experience, with atleast 4+ years’ experience in an analytics or data driven organization with a strong focus on enabling data driven decision-making
  • Strong analytical expertise in the requisite or related field
  • Strong Business focus and Client centric approach
  • Strong and proactive and proven ability to provide insights and analytical acumen/ judgement for decision making

Capabilities & Expertise:

Must:

Technical Skills: Knowledge of programming languages like SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis. Expertise in data visualization tools such as Power BI and QlikSense Data Analysis and Interpretation: Proficiency in statistical analysis, data mining, and extracting data from various sources to make business decisions Database Modeling: Proficiency in database modeling is essential. This includes understanding database structures, relationships, and constraints to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval. Have a detail understanding on data models, data schemas (normalized, flat, star, snowflake, etc.) Business Intelligence: Skills in business intelligencedata-driven decision-makingdata collection methods, discovery, and interpretation. Proficiency in structuring, assessing, and transforming data using core functions in Excel and Power BI Communication and Problem-Solving: Ability to communicate complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders and solve problems with communicative problem-solving skills

Preferred:

Microsoft Certification on Power BI (PL-300) Strong team player who is dynamic and result oriented Good project management skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively Pharmaceutical industry or compliance domain knowledge – desirable
