-Take responsibility for the overall standards and direction of technology in the technical domain. Ensure the right IT investments are made in the respective domain.Ensures adherence of provided IT services to business as per agreed SLAs. Coordinate planning, resourcing, execution with other CTS TT functions.Manages day to day service operations.Ensures stability and integrity, operating mission critical platforms and systems of all Novartis divisions and Group which are in the scope

Major accountabilities:
Work Experience:
- Set overall standards and direction of platforms/systems in the technical domain, ensuring the right IT investments are made; Define target Roadmap, covering capabilities, platforms and services technologies -determine vision, strategy, objectives for the technical domain; Estimate solution design and development efforts for projects and suggest and compile the required resources and assigning responsibilities connected to a defined time schedule;Communicate standards for a given Domain;Identify opportunities to reduce redundancy, consolidate platforms, improve operational deficiencies, close existing capability gaps, etc. ;Support with RfP developments ; Take accountability to ensure adherence with Security and Compliance policies and procedures within Domain
- IT Cost efficiency; Completeness, adequacy and correctness of the domain meeting its functional and non-functional (qualitative) needs and requirements; Clear definition, communication and execution of service portfolio vision and strategy; Service portfolio alignment to business strategy ; Delivery of mission critical operation services within agreed SLAs; ; Implement development plans; -Definie succession plans for key positions; Establish and maintain a strong talent pipeline
