About the Role
About position:
The FRA Specialist supports the Accounts Receivables and the process of reports to tax authorities (VAT, ITA, 856) within the FSC, ensuring its quality and effectiveness. Moreover he/she secures company assets by applying tight controls in the financial transactions, while providing accurate financial information and has deep understanding of processes and the ability to follow a structured process and collaborate with all stakeholders.
Major accountabilities:
• Experienced in Order to Cash process and activities (Accounts receivable)
• Ability to work independently and support other functions within the finance and accounting unit.
• Support with month, quarter, and year-closing procedures.
• Provides excellent services with a clear customer-oriented attitude and escalates exceptions.
• Mange account receivables processes: including invoicing, billing, collection and aging analysis.
• VAT and ITA reporting, recording and balance reconciliations.
• Managing Intercompany balances settlement.
• Corresponds to internal and external inquiries in English and Hebrew.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a FSC team.
• Ability to take initiative and work with limited supervision.
• Ensure compliance with Novartis Accounting Manual (NAM), Novartis Financial Controls Manual (NFCM) and regulatory requirements.

Key Requirements:
• Accountant certified 1-2. Advantage for Accountant certified 3
• proficiency in Hebrew and English (both written and spoken)
• At least 3 years of bookkeeping experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work optimally in a multi-national, matrix organization.
• Consultancy a plus.
• SAP R3 knowledge
• Profound communication skills, leadership exposure
• Proficient in Excel.
• Advantage - Deep professional knowledge and experience in bookkeeping
