About the Role

The Integrated Marketing Organization, within our US Pharmaceuticals division, is instrumental in driving both brand and Marketing strategies, leveraging a cross-functional suite of peers to orchestrate communications and campaigns for optimal impact across key customer audiences. Partnering with communications and campaigns for optimal impact across key customer audiences. Partnering with peers in the Product and Customer Engagement Organizations, this team is adept at identifying synergies, enabling business-critical transformation and modeling what is looks like to be curious, inspired and unbossed. Each day, the Marketing Organization will collaborate and innovate to get more medicines, faster, into the hands of the people that need them most.

The Associate Director, Marketing RLT will be responsible for supporting the HCP launch of PSMAfore and lead various strategic elements and tactical execution across professional promotion and non-personal promotion of Prostate Cancer Therapy within Novartis US Integrated Marketing Strategy team. The HCP Marketer will be responsible for working as part of the PSMAfore HCP marketing team to translate the HCP marketing strategy into a robust professional promotional and NPP strategy / plan, including working closely with the Customer Experience team to define the media strategy and plan. This individual will report directly into the Director, HCP Marketing Strategy Lead for the Prostate Cancer Therapy, partnering closely with this Lead, along with other HCP Marketers, Patient Marketers, and other cross-functional partners, to ensure that the HCP Marketing Strategy and concepts are effectively orchestrated into HCP-centric tactics and experiences.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead aligned elements of Professional promotional and Non Personal Promotions/digital channel strategy and execution on the team

  • Plan and execute in an orchestrated approach, connecting field and digital tactics

  • Pull through campaign and brand strategy/content in aligned elements of Professional promotional and non-personal channels

  • Develop and execute tactics that cut through the noise and activate HCPs

  • Collaborate with analytics team and customer experience team and use data to guide effective creative development and channel selection

  • Drive new insights through integration of information from customers/patients

  • Collaborate closely with cross functional colleagues, lead work with key agency partners 

What you’ll bring to the role:

Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field is required; Master of Science, and/or MBA preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5+ years pharmaceutical, biotech or healthcare marketing experience 

    • US, HCP, Professional Promotion/NPP/Digital, Oncology, Prostate cancer, or Specialty Marketing experience is strongly preferred

  • Proven ability to collaborate, operate, and influence cross-functionally

  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking and project management skills

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation skills, and management of agencies

  • Ability to develop and deliver resources / programs / tactics on time, on scope, on budget, with strong financial acumen

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $158,400.00 and $237,600.00 a year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/23 through 12/31/23, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period.  Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
