About the Role
Your key responsibilities:
- Engage with external stakeholders to identify medical unmet needs, evidence gaps and gain insights to shape Novartis local/global strategy
- Organize and implement scientific engagement with Medical Experts (MEs) and Key Opinion Leaders
- Support the medical community with up-to-date scientific data, robust disease expertise and Novartis products, innovative platforms, and technologies’ information
- Engage in early local research to identify key unmet needs and opportunities to help improve patient access and outcomes and support seamless launch, with optimized access and adherence for patients •Support and contribute to innovative partnership models for shared ownership in transforming clinical practice
- Supports early development products, launch and commercialization of products through scientific data dissemination, education of the scientific community, clinical trials’ support and close collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Respond to medical and scientific queries
- Provide medical trainings to Novartis colleagues

What you will bring to the role:
- MD or Masters/PhD in life sciences
- Minimum 3 year of experience in health care system / pharmaceutical industry (preferably in Medical affairs or Strategic Account Management) / clinical research
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong medical and scientific bases and agility to transverse the disease areas
- Knowledge of the local medical, regulatory and market access environment
- Ability to develop collaborative partnerships in healthcare community
- Strong personal integrity reflected in all actions and behaviors
- Solid business mentality including innovative, solution-oriented, and critical thinking with performance-focused drive to achieve objectives and execute tactics
- Preferred experience in innovative research or study design or medical writing
- Fluent in English and Slovene language

Job location: Slovenia.
We offer permanent employment, with 6 months of probation period.
