About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
• Define and continuously improve site maintenance strategy for all equipment.
• Execute asset lifecycle management to meet global Novartis standards.
• Lead the site reliability program using data-driven approaches.
• Mentor and manage engineers supporting 24/7 operations.
• Own and optimize master data for process, utility, Quality Control, and Technical Research and Development equipment.
• Develop, monitor, and enhance Key Performance Indicators for system reliability.
• Drive change management and Corrective and Preventive Actions to ensure equipment reliability.
The salary for this position is expected to range between $114,100 and $211,900 per year.
The final salary offered is determined based on factors like, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience, and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. Novartis may change the published salary range based on company and market factors.
Your compensation will include a performance-based cash incentive and, depending on the level of the role, eligibility to be considered for annual equity awards.

Essential Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in a Good Manufacturing Practice–regulated environment.
• Proven experience with regulatory audits and inspections.
• Demonstrated use of Root Cause Analysis tools (5 Whys, Fishbone, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis).
• Strong background in leading or supporting investigations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Desirable Requirements:
• Professional experience in Reliability Engineering.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
