Role purpose:

The Logistics Team Lead will be instrumental in overseeing and managing the logistics operations in Bulgaria. The role involves coordinating and optimizing various processes to ensure the timely, efficient, and compliant delivery of pharmaceuticals, while also focusing on maintaining high standards of quality and adherence to regulatory requirements. The Logistics Team Lead will lead a team of skilled professionals, fostering collaboration both internally and externally. Your strategic acumen will drive initiatives aimed at elevating the efficiency of our logistics.

Main responsibilities:
• Lead and manage a team of logistics experts to ensure effective execution of logistics activities                     

 • Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize processes, cost, inventory levels, and delivery performance in Bulgaria
• Ownership of all operational activities and KPI's to ensure high standard service in line with organization objectives

• Full ownership of contracting, partnering & communication with distributors in the country

 • Address and resolve any issues affecting supply of products to ensure achievement of country performance

• Oversight all importation in line with local & global guidelines
• Monitor timely booking of orders and track production, release and shipments

• Facilitate and agree sales forecast with country organizations.
• Budget settings and managing all costs in efficient and continuous improvement mindset.
• Management of all financial transactions in line with company policies

• Lead all aspects related to 3PL qualification, contracting and monitoring with respect to local and global policies
• Lead and participate in strategic projects as and when required by company (e.g. new technology implementation, introduction of new products, optimizing supply model, etc.)
 

Role Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics/Economics/Business with +8 years of Professional experience in Logistics Management, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Solid understanding of key supply chain planning processes and used technologies
• Several years of experience in leading, managing and developing teams
• Excellent in setting clear directions for others in times of uncertainty, change and transformation
• Proactive, result- and solution-driven with an entrepreneurial mindset
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills, with the ability to approach challenges with an open mind and explore alternative solutions.
• High customer and team orientation as well as strong communication skills
