Summary

Due to an internal development move, we are now seeking to hire an experienced Medical Information professional to join our Medical Affairs Team. Reporting to the Medical Information Team Lead, this role will provide a high quality, unsolicited scientific, medical, pharmaceutical and technical support through the response of accurate and timely medical/scientific information to all internal and external inquiring customers (e.g. medical experts, consumers, patients, internal stakeholders) of varied medical information requests/requirements across the entire Novartis portfolio.

London Office with Hybrid working (12 days per month in the office)

Key responsibilities:

• The role will be strategically aligned to a therapy area (to be confirmed) and act as a product expert to provide high-quality Medical Information services to UK customers
• An integral & valued member of the Therapy Area Medical HO and Field team and align with medical strategy
• Assist with the creation of DOF and SmPC / product training for new associates
• Contribute to and participate in Medical meetings through insight sharing.
• Collate and share TA insights every month and identify any valuable and actionable clinical insights that can have an impact and translate into fundamental changes.
• Effectively help drive external engagement by working closely with Field medical colleagues
• Utilize our platforms to gather customer feedback and seek ways to improve our service & customer satisfaction
• Manage and/or advise on complex external/internal customer interaction

Role requirements:

  • Previous Medical Information experience is essential. Preferably from within another Pharmaceutical company.
  • Degree qualification in pharmacy, medicine or life sciences with proven experience in Medical Information / Medical Affairs Function
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a broad range of stakeholders
  • Strong Project Management skills with great attention to detail and GDP knowledge
  • Excellent Knowledge of ABPI and other pharmaceutical legislations on providing information. (E.g., data privacy & copyright)
  • Strong working knowledge of UK healthcare system and external stakeholder management
