- SGS (Swiss based Société Générale de Surveillance SA) will acquire and operate the assets from Novartis International Service Laboratory (ISL), located on the Novartis Ringaskiddy campus in Ireland.
- With this transaction the 100 Novartis associates currently working at the Laboratories will transfer from Novartis to SGS.
- This agreement foresees the continued provision of the Drug Substance Testing, Stability Program Management and Analytical Services and Technology (AS&T) to Novartis
Ringaskiddy, January 12, 2021 — Novartis announced today that it has entered into an agreement with SGS, a leading global company in Analytical Testing, Inspection and Certification, to divest assets from the Novartis International Service Laboratory (ISL), located on the Novartis Ringaskiddy campus in Ireland.
Novartis has collaborated with SGS as an external supplier, for a number of years, and looks forward to a closer relationship, hosting SGS on the Novartis Ringaskiddy campus. The agreement foresees the continued provision of Drug Substance Testing, Stability Program Management and Analytical Services and Technology (AS&T) to Novartis.
