Get ready for something truly special!
Novartis Ireland is proud to announce the launch of the Patient Choir Contest, celebrating the power of music and spotlighting the incredible talent within patient communities across Ireland. This exciting initiative marks our company’s global partnership with the Eurovision Song Contest 2025, hosted in our headquarters city of Basel, Switzerland.
From 14 April to 30 April, inspiring patient choirs will take part in this fun initiative. Public votes will be combined with input from two expert judges: Charlie McGettigan, former Eurovision winner, and Hilary Moss, Professor of Music Therapy at the University of Limerick.
How it works:
Each choir will submit a short (1-3 minute) video of them singing, featured here and on Novartis Ireland’s LinkedIn page and a note on why people should vote for their choir, explaining how being part of the choir positively impacts the members health and well-being. The public can also vote online for their favourite choir from April 14th to 30th inclusive. Follow #NovartisIrelandEurovisionPatientChoirContest. The winner will be chosen through a combination of public votes and expert judging.

· Vote: Watch the choir performances and vote online for your favourite choir. Public voting will be open from 14 April to 30 April, making up 33% of the final score (rest of the voting is from our Eurovision judges Charlie McGettigan and Prof Hilary Moss, Professor of Music Therapy at the University of Limerick). Voting will be available on our LinkedIn page and website.
The winning choir will be invited to perform at our Dublin office, celebrating their talent and the therapeutic benefits of music.
