Summary
About the Role
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Managing global AD operations (non-technical)
- Facilitating alignment with key stakeholders/AD line functions
- Organizing and facilitating workshops for key operational initiatives
- Project management for key workstreams and initiatives
- Acting as the single point of contact for topics such as monthly business report, conference planning and talent reviews in AD
- Driving communication of key achievements and events within AD and beyond and ensuring appropriate and timely communication on relevant topics
- Driving continuous improvement: Identifying, supporting and encouraging ideas to improve processes day to day
- Rolling-out Technical Research & Development, Biologics and corporate initiatives
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Good understanding of Biologics technical development
- Good organization and planning skills
- Problem-solving and idea generation skills
- Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Ability and experience to work and lead in a matrix environment; strong cross-functional leadership background
- Fluent English (oral and written)
- University degree (Master / PhD or equivalent) in life sciences
- >3 years of practical experience in pharmaceutical industry
Desirable requirements
- An MBA in a relevant subject (desirable only, not required)
- A Project Management qualification (desirable only, not required)

In addition to a market-competitive base salary, we offer an attractive incentive program, a modern company pension scheme, childcare facilities, learning and development opportunities as well as worldwide career possibilities within the Novartis group. In accordance with Austrian law, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary as stated in the collective bargaining agreement. For this position the minimum salary is € 71,028.44/year (on a full-time basis). The actual salary will be significantly higher, as we strive to maintain a competitive position in the market and consider your previous experience, qualifications and individual competencies.
We are open for part-time and job-sharing models and support flexible and remote working where possible.
