About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
• Consistently demonstrate appropriate confidentiality, integrity and sensitivity in handling all investigation matters;
• Conducting thorough, high quality and timely investigations into diversified allegations;
• Preparing complete, concise and timely investigative reports;
• Be capable of simultaneously handling multiple investigations and various related tasks;
• Coordinating disciplinary sanctions for substantiated cases with cross-functional sanction decision committee;
• Sharing case themes, driving improvements for processes and controls, driving compliance awareness and preventing employee’s misconduct;
• Supporting company wise monitoring programs, as needed.
• Effectively collaborate with Legal, Data Privacy, SUO and other partners, promoting benefits to Novartis stakeholders.
Essential Requirements:
• More than 10 years in a forensic or compliance role in another global Pharma organization (Preferred) in China with a Big Four accounting firm experience;
• Experience of leading or oversight of compliance review for external stakeholder interaction related expenses claims is a plus;
• High level of personal integrity, independence, tenacity and resilience. Strong investigative, analytical, conceptual thinking and problem solving skills;
• Strong sense of professional curiosity and a keen attention to details;
• Ability to maintain professional demeanor even when confronted with stressful and/or potentially adversarial situations;
• Demonstrated ability to effectively interact and work collaboratively with multiple cross functional teams, an excellent communicator with strong influencing skills;
• Demonstrated flexibility, willingness to initiate and take on new tasks and ability to effectively operate within a fast paced environment;
• Advanced proficiency with relevant software (Microsoft Office, Power Point and etc.). Limited domestic travel required.
Desirable Requirements:
• Bachelor Degree
• Mandarin – native speaker; English – fluent
