About the Role
Key responsibilities:
1. GROWTH: Develop a Business Transformation strategy plan for the therapeutic area, aligned with the CPO priorities and Global, Regional and Cluster requirements
- Builds a strategic vision and plan for the acceleration and fixing of the Patient Journey
- Ensures that plans/strategies accommodate the changes taking place in the market and respond to customer needs
- Acts as trusted partner with all customers, gaining a deep understanding of their needs to connect Novartis capabilities and co-create important solutions including digital ones.
2. PRODUCTIVITY: Drive effective use of resources according to commercial priorities of the Patient Journey Acceleration unit
- Map the best-proven patient journey solutions and build a catalogue of solutions that is fit for purpose.
- Share the patient and partner community needs internally.
- Work on the standardization of the customer offer, based on the product lifecycle and patient journey phase, demonstrating as appropriate the offering catalogue
- Drives solutions to address difficulties and unlock options to deliver value for patients and the community.
- Develops important metric set and monitoring/tracking tools. Interpret Key Performance Indicators and analyze results to propose solutions for broader implementation.
3. INNOVATION: Identifies and implements new ways to accelerate the patient journey through solutions for a differentiated customer experience
- Identify new opportunities for further strategic alliances and target groups development to deliver the best solutions for patients.
- Implement innovative concepts including e.g. partnerships, customer services and use of new technologies, digital solutions and medicines
- Aligns with Regional and Global customer solution initiatives to be aware of new application fields, treatment options, and outcomes results for products/diseases
- Serve as a leader and advisor identifying trends, participating in industry forums and events, and evaluating driven offerings demonstrating on insights with Regional and Global Digital Medicines team.
Essential requirements:
• University degree or equivalent experience in business, bioscience, medicine, and/or economics, MBA preferred
• Czech: native/proficient. English: written and spoken
• Extensive (5-10 years) of sales & marketing, medical and market access experience within the pharmaceutical industry
• Strong analysis and communication skills
• Strong partners’ or equivalent experience management, strategic and lateral thinking
• Interpretation and efficient communication of sophisticated information
• Communicates business-critical information at senior levels
• Negotiation and persuasion skills
• Passion for the business side beyond finance
• Result focus with high integrity
• Capacity to work under pressure
• Ability to builds extensive internal and/or external networks
• Hard-working for digital innovations
