Medical Science Liaison (MSL) will be responsible for scientifically engaging, collaborating and aligning with a broad range of external stakeholders to address identified patient needs and ultimately change the practice of medicine for better patient access and outcomes. They will leverage the right evidence at the right time during their engagements and identify disease area (DA) insights that impact development of the cross-functional DA strategy including the One Impact Planning (OIP), Integrated Evidence Generation Plans, launch excellence roadmap, Patient Journey and medical strategies

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

• Leverages and integrates insights from patients, Health Care Professionals (HCPs), Health Care System (HCS) and policy makers to shape disease area and patient strategies
• Co-creates with other functions and develops strategies to maximize clinical potential of compounds at early stage (pre-launch) or post-launch (in-mkt evidence gap)
• Collaborates closely with evidence generation and early-launch team, providing valuable field insights
• Developing and maintaining long-term professional relationships with investigators, medical specialists and healthcare professionals.
• Utilizing superior therapy area and product knowledge to engage with HCPs through non-promotional evidence based scientific dialogue and presentations on scientific research concepts and ideas with investigators
• Identify and map external stakeholders beyond Healthcare Professionals, aligned to the medical strategy, and in collaboration with other colleagues.
• Able to create personalized, flexible engagement strategies and plans, leveraging multiple channels and tailored content to meet the changing needs of external stakeholders.

Essential Requirements:

  • Field engagement, experience in the field

  • Medical Science and Disease Area Knowledge

  • Demonstrates a customer-focused mindset and passion for the scientific environment

  • Experience in effective collaboration to co-create value

  • Application of active listening skills to gain insights.

  • Strong influential engagement

  • Dutch, French and English

  • Experience from nuclear medicine is a plus
