About the Role:

This job posting offers a unique opportunity to take on a leadership role in procurement and make a significant impact on our organization's success.

You will be responsible for leading the delivery of individual projects as part of the Annual Category Plan, adopting a Business Partnering approach. This will involve various activities such as gathering requirements, conducting market analysis, qualifying and selecting suppliers in collaboration with relevant Business Partners and collaborators. Additionally, you will also be involved in non-sourcing projects like demand management and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Translate the global divisional category strategy into a comprehensive global, divisional, or sub-category strategy. Alternatively, translate the regional procurement strategy into a country strategy and oversee its local implementation.
- Take charge of implementing sourcing plans for the sub-category and ensure the achievement of sub-category savings targets, following engagement in the target setting process.
- Contribute to the overall category or sub-category strategy by providing input on segmentation and identification of key supplier relationships. Lead business planning activities and ensure timely execution of projects aligned with targeted goals.
- Manage strategic supplier relationships within the sub-category and establish consistent key performance indicators. Resolve any supplier performance risks and issues to the satisfaction of end users in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with partners to control purchases at a country level, including supplier choice, timing, and commercial conditions (this may vary between divisions depending on spend control practices).
- Collect supplier information and feedback from divisions, countries, sites, and category teams. Deliver Procurement Balanced Scorecard metrics specific to the relevant sub-category.
- Manage the budget and resource allocation for the area of responsibility.
