About the Role
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly engineering reports and support both internal and external audits.
- Create regional/site SOPs, templates and implement GOPs and technical standards.
- Lead equipment, utility, and facility improvement projects and ensure technical know-how availability.
- Implement sharing of best practices in automation, manage external resources and train operators.
- Execute asset strategies, establish cost-efficient repair processes and develop KPIs for maintenance.
- Investigate deviations, manage external resources, and handle vendor/contractor contracts.
- Prepare project health & safety risk assessments, perform new equipment inspections and manage project deficiencies.
- Develop process control systems, implement software change controls and maintain computer systems life cycle management.
Essential requirements:
- Degree in Automation/Electronic/Mechanical/Electrical engineering, preferably with a Master’s degree.
- Fluent in English
- 3+ years of experience in Automation in Pharma/Chemical industry.
- Leadership experience managing external resources and vendors with project management skills, including budget control.
- Experience in troubleshooting and maintaining reliable operation of building control/automation systems.
- Ability to develop automation solutions that suit the manufacturing environment while upholding global standards.
- Strong communication skills, able to present ideas and solutions effectively with excellent writing skills.
- Proficient in C&Q within the automation (CSV) and extended knowledge of GxP/HSE & Quality systems.
